We can all hold to our man-made beliefs above who Jesus really is.  Jesus was put to death by people like this. Instead of buckling down in self-justification, owning our failure and sin, in the presence of a loving God, and in true Christian community, is the only true path to freedom.  Trying to sustain a mask of perfection is draining and impossible.
